With the likes of Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys all waving the flag for American tennis, there has been no shortage of stars on the WTA circuit in recent times. However, two-time Grand Slam champion Barbora Krejcikova believes American teenage sensation Iva Jovic could have her moment in the spotlight sooner rather than later.
The 17-year old earned her main draw berth at the 2025 Cincinnati Open after going through qualifiers. Jovic would power through the opening two rounds, defeating Argentine Solana Sierra and 20th seed Linda Noskova to reach the third round at the WTA 1000 event.
However, Jovic's Cincinnati campaign would come to an end at the hands of Czech star Barbora Krejcikova. The two-time Grand Slam champion would stifle a second set comeback to prevail in a 6-4
