SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Boxing is a big part of 23-year-old Donarie Nunez' life.

"Really, I can't see myself without boxing. I always get emotional talking about it because this is like all I know how to do since I was young, and I just can't see myself without it honestly," Nunez said.

KELOLAND News talked with Nunez after she sparred with another boxer in a regulation-size ring at the Sioux Falls Family YMCA.

"Here I get to work with different kinds of fighters every day that I come here," Nunez said.

The training is being offered through the nonprofit Vargas Boxing.

It all started about a year ago when Juan and Olga Vargas wanted a place to train their son Manny Vargas who was passionate about boxing.
