LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Following a surge of social media backlash about alleged poor conditions at Freedom Ranch Animal Rescue Center in Laredo, a crowd gathered outside the Webb County Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday, August 13, demonstrators held signs and chanted while cars passed by, honking in support of the movement.
The group claims to be speaking for the voiceless animals that were once cared for at the facility. Additionally, the peaceful protest aimed to raise awareness about alleged animal cruelty in the city and to urge local leaders to take action.
