James Gunn is sharing an update on Margot Robbie ‘s future in the new DC universe .

If you forgot, the 35-year-old Oscar-nominated actress has played Harley Quinn in three movies – 2016′s Suicide Squad , 2020′s Birds of Prey , and 2021′s The Suicide Squad , which James , 59, directed and wrote.

In a new interview, James , who is the current CEO and Co-Chairman of DC Studios, addressed Margot ‘s future in the new universe.

“That will be revealed down the line,” James told Entertainment Weekly .

While he’s currently staying mum on Margot ‘s future, James did say that he really wants to be bring Idris Elba as Bloodsport.

“I definitely am always looking for a place to put Bloodsport and figuring that out,” James noted. “So we’ll see what happens.”
