A Boston couple says an intruder may have been staying in their South End home for weeks.

The Hammond family had felt like something was wrong at their home before Sunday, when they heard footsteps in a section that's under construction.

"There was a person in our house that we didn't know that was letting themselves in," said Ryan Rogers-Hammond. "Who knows what they were doing up there?"

"I was angry before this, and I'm enraged now," said Matthew Hammond.
