TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - With two games to go in the 2024-25 season, Tallahassee State College turned to first year assistant Chelsea Waters as interim head coach. After going 1-1 on the job and after a nationwide search, Athletic Director Chuck Moore found that the perfect new coach was already in the Eagledome.
Waters had her interim tag removed in May but received her official introduction on Wednesday. The 31 year old is excited for the opportunity and even joked about being mistaken for a student every now and then.
Having a front row seat to last year’s team has given Waters a leg up in examining the program and the changes it’ll take for TSC to compete in the Panhandle Conference again.
“Being exposed to what the competition is and how high the competition is in this league, it
