Michael Harris II closed out a nine-run fourth inning Wednesday night by hitting a grand slam for the visiting Atlanta Braves, who stunned the New York Mets in a 11-6 win in the middle game of a three-game series.

The Braves, who trailed 6-0 after two innings before mounting their biggest comeback of the season, have won five of seven. The Mets fell to 2-9 this month.

Pete Alonso's two-run single in the first put the Mets ahead before Carlos Carrasco could record an out. Cedric Mullins added a sacrifice fly later in the inning. New York scored three more times in the second, as Juan Soto hitting a two-run homer to center and Jeff McNeil added a two-out run-scoring double.
