RIDGEFIELD, Wash. — The first Washington state In-N-Out Burger location will have to wait a little longer.
The city of Ridgefield expressed concerns that the California-based chain's planned opening at the Ridgefield Union Ridge Town Center will be snarled by long drive-thru lines that might block public roads.
"Although an opening date for our Ridgefield location has not yet been finalized, we do aim to serve burgers in Washington by September," In-N-Out told KGW.
The exact location is on the east end of the Union Ridge Town Center development near the Interstate 5 and Pioneer Street junction. There are two routes between Pioneer Street and Union Ridge Town Center, North 56th Place and either North 53rd Place or Discovery Drive, with customer vehicles confined to "designated prope
