This Friday night (August 15), Irish rockers, Fontaines D.C. will play their biggest Manchester show to date at Wythenshawe Park, to tens of thousands of gig-goers.

The Irish outfit last played in Manchester in November, performing three night at Aviva Studios. Last August, their fourth album, Romance, garnered them Grammy nominations and propelled them to huge outdoor shows, one of which is at the 26,000-capacity Wythenshawe Park this weekend.

Live From Wythenshawe Park has been running for a few years now. Last summer year saw a double-header weekend with Blossoms and New Order on the bill over the August Bank Holiday, while Noel Gallagher kicked off the series in 2023.
