A man has been charged with the murder of a Birmingham woman.

The body of Shara Millar was found just off Woodburn Road in Smethwick on Monday morning (11 August).

Tanveer Singh, together with two other men, were yesterday arrested in connection with the death of 41-year-old Shara.

Singh, 31, from West Bromwich, was charged with her murder on Wednesday evening.

He is due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow (14 August).

Two other men have been released with no further action after being questioned by detectives.

A forensic post mortem has revealed she died as a result of strangulation.
