Temperatures in London are set to hit 30C again this week, after a scorching Tuesday which saw climes of 33.4C in parts of the capital amid the fourth heatwave of the year. Today (Thursday, August 14). Londoners can enjoy a breather from the very hottest weather , staying comfortably in the 20s throughout the day from 9am - reaching a peak of 27C from 4pm to 7pm.
But tomorrow ( Friday, August 15 ) will see a return of higher temperatures, hitting 25C by lunchtime and steadily rising to a top temperature of 30C by 5pm , kicking off the start of the weekend.
The Met Office stated: "Another warm day is expected across much of the UK today. Any low cloud will quickly clear up in the morning to leave a fine, dry day with plenty of sunshine, feeling very warm in mostly light winds. Maxim
