A woman has spoken out after returning home to find her beloved pet dead after a dog walker took it for a walk in 27C heat.
Tragically, disabled grandmother Mandy, 63, came home to find two year old Shelby lifeless on her living room floor.
Her dog walker informed Mandy's daughter that he had taken Shelby for a 20-minute stroll and the pet seemed fine when returned to the house.
However, footage from a neighbour's doorbell camera showed the dog walker carrying the limp dog up the garden path before leaving it in Mandy's house. The video confirmed that Shelby was brought back to the house nearly an hour after she was collected, reports the Daily Record .
