A mum who secured a mystery Chinese takeaway for merely £4 through Too Good To Go has hailed the bargain as a "game-changer". Dayna Cohen was astounded when she unwrapped the package to discover it brimming with a banquet from a neighbourhood restaurant.
The mum-of-one, from Glasgow, noticed the offer from Cathay Cuisine and chose to take a chance. Contained within was an enormous salt and chilli box loaded with chips, chicken and a chicken ball, alongside a varied assortment including chicken curry, fried rice, Chow Mein noodles and a beef dish.
The 35-year-old had been utilising the app for some time but claims this recent bounty was among her finest discoveries.
"It was an absolute feast," she said. "It honestly felt life-changing – so much food for just £4, I couldn't believe it.
