All petrol and diesel drivers could get "lower prices" amid calls for the Labour Party governemnt to launch a fuel cost checker.

The government announced last year that the Fuel Finder scheme would be introduced by the end of the year, subject to parliamentary timings. The tool, known as Fuel Finder, is expected to launch by the end of 2025.

It will require all UK retail filling stations to report prices and the unavailability of fuel within 30 minutes of a change.
