First Look Revealed of Sean Bean and Connie Nielsen in 'Robin Hood'

MGM+ has shared the first-look image from the upcoming drama series “ Robin Hood ,” debuting later this year.

The shot features Sean Bean (“Game of Thrones,” “The Lord of the Rings”) as the Sheriff of Nottingham alongside Connie Nielsen (“Gladiator,” “Wonder Woman”) as Eleanor of Aquitaine – offering “a glimpse at the tense rivalries and high-stakes power struggles at the heart of this reimagined take on the legendary tale,” according to a release.

MGM+ describes the show as a “smart, sweeping, romantic adventure that brings historical authenticity, psychological depth, and a heightened focus on the relationship between Rob and Marian.”

Jack Patten plays Rob and Lauren McQueen is Marian.
