NATURALS 5, TRAVELERS 3

Northwest Arkansas scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a scoreless tie en route to a win over Arkansas in Texas League action Wednesday night at Arvest Ballpark.

Justin Johnson's single off Travelers starter Adam Seminaris (5-6) snapped the 0-0 tie and gave the Naturals the lead for good. Spencer Nivens added a two-run single, and Johnson later scored on a passed ball for a 4-0 advantage.

Northwest Arkansas (21-20 second half, 54-56 overall) pushed the lead to 5-0 on Brett Squires' RBI-groundout in the bottom of the seventh off Travelers reliever Jason Ruffcorn.

Ben Kudrna (2-7) picked up the win, tossing seven scoreless innings. He scattered 6 hits, struck out 4 and walked 1.
