A man has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged sexual offences after a group gathered outside a property in Glasgow's east end .

Officers were called to the gathering at around 7pm on Wednesday, August 13, near Vogue Bingo on Cumbernauld Road in Carntyne.

A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with sexual offences. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, August 14.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.10pm on Wednesday, 13 August, 2025, officers were called to a group gathered on Cumbernauld Road in Glasgow.

“A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with sexual offences.

"He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 14 August.”
