Travel between Canada and the United States continues to decline in July in both directions. However, as far as the United States is concerned, it continues to make bold moves favoring travel to Canada. American Airlines, in particular, has been applauded for keeping Canada in the loop . They just announced a new Canadian destination, Quebec City. Given the tourist boom of Americans in Quebec last year, the decision was met with considerable optimism. American Airlines is also planning on expanding connections to Canada, with a pending codeshare agreement in place with Porter Airlines .

Along with the flight increases, both Canadians and Americans are witnessing other remarkable shifts. This turn in particular may inspire Canadians to return to the United States.
