The PEOPLE's World's Cutest Rescue Dog Contest Presented by the PEDIGREE® Brand is back for 2025.

In its eighth year, the contest is searching for an adorable rescue dog to follow in the pawsteps of past winners like Hobie, the one-eyed terrier mix, and Margot, the stunning pit bull mix, who took the top prize in 2024.

Voting for the World's Cutest Rescue Dog Contest is now open. Click on the dog you think deserves the "cutest" crown below to vote for that pup. Animal lovers can vote for their favorite canine once a day during the voting period. Voting runs Aug. 14 through Sept. 15.
