As the Trump administration continues efforts to undermine New York in Washington, state and city leaders are exploring ways to “Trump-proof” the city’s budget.

Councilman Lincoln Restler has introduced a bill that would require monthly reports on all federal funds the city receives and how they’re spent.

He joined “Mornings On 1” Thursday to discuss the proposal.
