School District of Philadelphia, teachers' union still need to reach new contract before Aug. 31

Aug. 25 marks the first day of class for students in the School District of Philadelphia, but the teachers' contract will expire just one week into the school year. Members of the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers are calling for more competitive pay and changes to sick leave, among other demands, Wakisha Bailey reports.
