Tropical Storm Erin has officially formed off the west coast of Africa, becoming our 5th named storm of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Meanwhile, the National Hurricane Center is also monitoring two other areas of potential tropical development.
Tropical Storm Erin:
A tropical wave that pushed off the coast of western Africa has officially organized into Tropical Storm Erin.
Located in the Central Atlantic, Erin is moving west at 17 miles per hour, forecasted to continue this path over the next few days.
The system is forecasted to make a northward curve, but uncertainty lies on when the curve will take place. Right now, the majority of the models are trending towards our favor, as it indicates the storm to curve at a point where it will miss the Continental United States. Ther
