KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Max Gilbert is a strong-legged kicker from Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis who boasts 20 of 26 field goals with a long of 52 yards and a perfect extra point record. Returning for his third year, and second as Tennessee’s kicking specialist, he’s ready to make moves on the football field.

“I know she’s stressed. She tries not to put it on me, but I can tell, especially after the game, is kind of a weight off her shoulders when the game’s over.”

That’s what Gilbert said about his mom– it can be stressful, having your child be the top-dog kicker on a college team. That being said, Gilbert said he tries not to let the stress get to him.
