Eighty-four Russian servicemen were returned on Thursday during a prisoners of war exchange with Ukraine, as announced by the Russian Defence Ministry.

In a video released by the ministry, Russian soldiers can be seen boarding a bus and chanting "Hooray! We're home!" inside.

According to the ministry, 84 prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transferred In exchange.

The released Russian servicemen are currently in Belarus, where they are receiving psychological and medical assistance.

As reported by the Russian Defense Ministry, the exchange was provided with mediation by the United Arab Emirates.
