(WHTM)-- Drinkmate is recalling more than 100,000 1-Liter Carbonation Bottles due to serious impact and laceration hazards.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the bottles can explode during use, posing serious hazards to users and bystanders, including impact, laceration, and hearing damage.
The CPSC says Drinkmate has received eight reports of the bottle exploding while in use, including four reports of injuries and hearing damage.
The bottles involved in the recall are made with clear polyethylene terephthalate bodies and caps and bases in red, blue, white, and black plastic. The CPSC says the bottles have an expiration date between 01/2026 and 10/2026 printed on the side of the bottle. • Courtesy of CPSC • Courtesy of CPSC
