Orlando Fire crews are on the scene of a possible explosion on West Robinson Street, an incident that left at least three people in need of medical help Thursday morning.
The department posted to X at about 9:45 a.m. that sixteen units were on the scene, which is still active. “There are medical transports,” the post reads.
Spectrum News 12 reported that the incident is at an Orlando Utilities Commission substation.
“We are aware of an incident this morning at an OUC substation in downtown Orlando,” said Michelle Lynch, an agency spokesperson. At this time, three OUC employees have been transported to a local hospital. Our crews are on scene to investigate and make repairs.”
