Streaming service HBO Max said it intends to crackdown on the practice of password sharing – essentially letting users outside your home log on to your account to view for free- starting Sept. 1.
According to Fortune, HBO Max subscribers will be given the option to pay an additional $8 per month fee to share a password. The fee has technically existed for a while, the report said, but enforcement will step up Sept. 1.
