A Rhode Island man was indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump and to injure or kill Attorney General Pamela Bondi and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller .
The charges stem from a profanity-laced social media post made earlier this summer.
Acting United States Attorney for the District of Rhode Island Sara Miron Bloom announced Wednesday that 37-year-old Carl D. Montague faces one count of threats against the president and one count of interstate communications of threats.
