A man has appeared in court charged with the murder and robbery of a man at a flat in Aberdeen.
Scott Lewis Adams, 46, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday. Adams, of Aberdeen, made no plea.
He was remanded in custody while the case was committed for further examination.
Adams is expected to reappear in court within the next eight days.
It comes after 25-year-old Austin Ironside was found injured at a property on Skene Street in the Granite City at around 3pm on Sunday, August 3.
He was raced to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary , but tragically he died two days later. Article continues below
Following the results of a post-mortem examination, police confirmed they were treating Austin's death as suspicious .
