A woman has told of the moment she was approached and 'terrorised' by Edinburgh youths on Princes Street.

The incident took place on Thursday, August 7, near Waverley Station and was caught on camera.

Paint art performer, Aicon, was on the city street around 7pm before she was allegedly approached by the gang of around 15 young people.

She claimed the group 'threw a bottle of coke' before 'pouring a drink' on her leaving her hair and clothes wet.

The gang then reportedly nicked four spray paint cans she was unable to retrieve. Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Aicon said the incident was a "dangerous situation".

The clip shows the group of youths crowding around the area with some covering their faces. One male lobs a bottle of coke at her before sticking his middle finger up.
