To the Editor:

My family and I want to share our assessment of the care I received for my robotic knee replacement. We thank each and every person we came in contact with at the Syracuse Veterans Hospital from April 8 to April 19. My family had good experiences on their daily visits.

The kindness and caring attitude of the staff were on full display. For example, when my daughter dropped off my wife, who is disabled, the security officer provided a wheelchair. Another example was the constant friendly attitude of all the staff, no matter the situation. Patients seemed to be well cared for and happy on the two floors I was on. My wife noted how clean the rooms and hospital were. The honor and respect toward the veterans and their families was well-displayed throughout the facility.
