Boy dead, 2suspects in custody after hit-and-run in southeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — Wichita police say a child is dead and two people are in custody following a hit-and-run crash in southeast Wichita on Wednesday.

Officers responded to the intersection of Harry and Rock Road at around 6:30 p.m. WPD spokesperson Brad Wright said they found a boy lying in front of a vehicle. He died at the scene.
