The Seattle Seahawks are back in action Friday (Aug. 15) for a preseason matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs at Lumen Field.

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said at a news conference on Wednesday that most of his starters, including quarterback Sam Darnold, are expected to see playing time against the Chiefs after many didn't see action in the team's opener against the Las Vegas Raiders , Seahawks.com reported.

"We're still kind of working through it right now, but our guys are going to start the game out and we'll see how long it goes," Macdonald said.

Meanwhile, Chiefs coach Andy Reid indicated that star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce may not play against the Seahawks, as the Kansas City game plan calls for giving younger players experience on the fiel
