An England man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison -- with 60 months suspended -- for a 2023 shooting death , the Arkansas State Police announced Thursday.

Tamarous Dodson, 24, had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection to the July 1, 2023 shooting death of Justin Williams, 34, from Pulaski County.

According to prosecutor's synopsis of the case, the incident occurred at the corner of South Main and Nichols streets in England.

During an event at a motorcycle club located at 116 E. Nichols St., a fight broke out.

This caused the owners of the club to ask everyone present to leave.

Outside the establishment, a second incident resulted in shots being fired, according to the synopsis.
