The Michigan football program and college football at large finally knows when the Wolverines will found out their fate in regards to the advanced scouting scandal.

The NCAA officially notified U-M that it will release the findings publicly on Friday, Aug. 15 according to a person familiar with the situation. ESPN's Pete Thamel originally reported about the impending timeline.

The situation has engulfed the program since news broke of it in October 2023, nearly two years ago, when officials identified former recruiting staffer Connor Stalions as the potential epicenter of a sign stealing ring.

It disrupted the program's historic 2023 season as the Big Ten Conference suspended then-coach Jim Harbaugh for the final three regular-season games for violating the Sportsmanship Policy. T
