The Lacombe Cilantro and Chive location took part in the Make-A-Wish Heroes Challenge in June.

The goal was to raise money to grant children their wishes.

Wishes granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation help children build resilience, reduce stress, and improve health outcomes as wishes provide hope, which is an essential part of healing.

Team Cilantro and Chive Lacombe created the 'Get 'em to the Greek' burger, which included one beef patty, one lamb patty, iceberg lettuce, tzatziki, feta, diced red onion, cucumber, and tomato tossed in a Greek dressing on a potato roll.

Two dollars from each burger sold during June went directly to the Make-A-Wish Hero Challenge.

Thanks to customer support, the Lacombe and Red Deer locations were able to hand over $5,000 to Make-A-Wish.
