A person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a stabbing at a CTfastrak station in New Britain on Wednesday night.

Troop H personnel responded to the CTfastrak station in New Britain around 9:59 p.m. on Wednesday for a reported stabbing, according to the Connecticut State Police .

The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, state police said.

The Central District Major Squad responded to the scene and assumed the investigation, according to state police.
