Tigers' Gleyber Torres predicted to leave in free agency, but not for Yankees

One of the storylines for the Detroit Tigers, amid their incredible 2025 season, has been how great the free agent signing of Gleyber Torres has gone. Torres inked a $15 million deal for one year in the offseason and has been incredible for the Tigers.

He was the starting second baseman for the American League in the All-Star Game, and is one of the top Tigers sluggers this season for a team leading the AL Central.
