Brian Carter Nolan, age 63, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on August 10, 2025. He was born on February 17, 1962, in Batchewana Bay, Canada, to Frank Sr. and Charlotte (Gingras) Nolan.
Brian grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. After college, he moved to the United States, where he began working at Kewadin Casinos as a Blackjack Dealer. It was there that he met the love of his life, Lonetta, and the two were married on November 15, 2008. He retired after twenty years at Kewadin. From the age of 13 until he was 48, Brian was also a professional boxer. His career took him across the world, from Russia to Africa, and even gave him the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the Pope.
Brian was a dedicated member of the Batchewana First Nation Tribe of Indians.
