Carpentersville police are seeking two people believed involved in the shooting of three men Wednesday night in the 1200 block of Navajo Drive.

The incident occurred about 11:25 p.m. when the two suspects approached four men — one 17 years old, the second 18 and two others 19 — seated inside a vehicle parked in a driveway, according to Carpentersville Deputy Police Chief Kevin Stankowitz and a news release from the Carpentersville Police Department. A confrontation ensued, and three of the people in the vehicle were shot.

The vehicle’s driver tried to get them to a local hospital while a passenger called 911 for help. Police located the victims at the intersection of Randall Road and Broadsmore Drive in Algonquin, where they began administering life-saving measures, reports said.
