An endangered missing adult alert has been issued by Reading police for a missing man last seen Tuesday.

According to officials, Maurice Howard Jr., 55, left the VA Medical Center on Aug. 12 and has not been seen since. Advertisement

Police say Howard is 5-foot-6, 205 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a red jacket and white gym shoes.

Authorities say Howard has a medical condition that requires medication. Without it, he can appear to be intoxicated or lethargic.

Official say he does not have a cell phone or another electronic device.
