KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The 2025 high school football season kicks off one week from Thursday.

That means this week, it’s dress rehearsal time. Thursday is jamboree night across the region and WVLT and 5-Star Preps are getting right in the middle of it with our annual season preview show.

WVLT Sports will be be live at night one of the KOC Kickoff Classic at Central High School’s Dan Y. Boring Stadium. The event was previously scheduled for Halls High School.

WVLT will also be at the 5-Star Preps jamboree taking place at Burke-Tarr Stadium on the Carson-Newman University campus.

Our partner Jesse Smithey will be with us and we’ll talk with Russell Biven about another exciting season of Football Night Live.
