Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is coming off an MVP season last year, but according to The Athletic is not the best quarterback in the league.

The Bills' superstar ranks in its first tier, but behind his AFC counterparts in Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Allen is coming off a season in which he set career bests in EPA per pass play, sack rate, and rate of pass plays gaining more than 15 yards. Allen threw for 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns and 531 yards on the ground with 12 touchdowns to boot.

Allen exorcised one demon last season with his MVP win, but has yet to get past his ultimate hurdle, the Kansas City Chiefs, in the playoffs. He once again fell short to Mahomes in the AFC Championship game, and until Allen clears that h
