BEMIDJI — Bemidji State women's soccer senior forward Katrina Barthelt was voted as the 2025 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, announced by the league Thursday morning.

League coaches also voted the Beavers to finish third in the 2025 NSIC Preseason Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Poll, and senior defender Emma Huelsnitz was tabbed as the Beavers’ Defensive Player to Watch.

“I like the collective experiences that this group has had the past few seasons,” said head coach Jim Stone in a release. “I think those experiences lend themselves to both confidence and motivation.
