BEMIDJI — Running from Aug. 21–23, the fifth annual Bemidji Pride Festival marks half a decade of 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility and advocacy in the Bemidji area with the theme "Living Out Loud."

This year's theme reflects both the progress and continued work needed to ensure safety, belonging and celebration for all members of the community, a release said.

Founded in 2020, Bemidji Pride has grown into an annual regional gathering that combines art, performance and community programming for both 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and allies.

This year’s schedule features music, comedy, drag performances and a large-scale family festival. All events will be held at the Rail River Folk School, 303 Railroad St. SW.
