The Trump administration’s impending review of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. has put the brakes on a “Weird Al” Yankovic exhibition.
The musician — known for his parody songs such as “Eat It” and “Amish Paradise” — planned to donate memorabilia to the Smithsonian for an exhibition about his career, according to avclub.com .
Those plans, however, are now delayed.
“I’m putting that on hold because, as you may have heard, the Smithsonian is going through some changes right now, and I’m waiting until the dust settles,” Yankovic said.
Yankovic appears to be referring to a letter sent by the Trump administration to the Smithsonian stating that its eight museums will undergo a “comprehensive internal review,” according to NPR .
