Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Deer Park on Wednesday, August 13. Shamar Fraser was operating a 2022 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Commack Road when the motorcycle struck an eastbound 2012 Honda Civic at the intersection of Marcus Boulevard at 11:12 a.m. Fraser, 25, of Amityville, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Honda, Dalila Cruise Aguilar, 44, of North Babylon, was uninjured. Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
