Some flights at Porto Airport (OPO) were diverted on August 10, 2025, after a Ryanair flight declared an emergency in which the captain passed out. The flight landed safely, and the captain received medical attention upon landing, but declined to be taken to the hospital.

The flight was operated by an Air Malta Boeing 737 on behalf of Ryanair. The aircraft remained on the ground in Porto for about six hours, departing for its next flight a few hours late. All passengers had disembarked safely, and there were no reports of any further incidents.

Pilot Falls Unconscious Mid-Flight
