A legendary Bay Area restaurant with nearly nine decades of history has opened a new location in the East Bay.

Original Joe's opened its latest establishment in Walnut Creek on Thursday. The restaurant is located at 1300 South Main St. in Broadway Plaza.

Original Joe's first opened in San Francisco in 1937. In addition to the new Walnut Creek location, it also operates in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood and Daly City's Westlake neighborhood.
