School is back in session, Labor Day is fast approaching and it won't be long before temperatures drop and leaves begin to change. Lucky for Northern Nevadans, some of the best fall foliage in the country is right in our backyard — at least according to USA TODAY.

Lake Tahoe, on both the California and Nevada sides, is nominated for USA TODAY's 10 Best destinations for fall colors. The winner is still to be determined.
